Michael Haight, 42, is believed to have shot and killed his wife, Tausha Haight, 40; Haight's mother-in-law, 78-year-old Gail Earl; and Haight's children three daughters ages 17, 12, and 7 and two sons, ages 7 and 4 inside their Enoch home before taking his own life. Larry and Becky served a church service mission and worked in the Cedar City, Utah Temple. His daughter still owns and runs the company today. Jim attended El Paso schools. She graduated from Othello High School in Washington in 1959 and left that fall to attend beauty school in Provo, Utah. He loved being outdoors fishing, hiking, biking and camping. He carried that with him wherever he was, whether at the construction site or the Parowan Liquor store where he worked for many years. Peter started his life in a rambling Victorian house that had secret passageways. From this, his family grew with 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. There he sacrificed his own well-being through his service in the Pacific Theatre during that war, and again as he took part in the atomic testing on the Marshall Islands following the conflict. Most evenings, he could be found riding Cedar Citys Southview trail system with family. Haight then turned the gun on himself. Gaytha was instrumental in helping organize the Beaver Civic Arts and enjoyed directing and helping with numerous productions in the Old Courthouse. Even when he had almost nothing, he still shared what he had with those in need. Also 3 great-grandchildren along with a large number of nieces and nephews. Michael had a kind heart and a contagious laughter. He was in much pain, which disabled him for life. He became the unofficial historian of Cedar High as he captured the lives of students: their sporting events, dances, clubs, music and drama and their antics with his trusty 35mm camera.
